Pete is a Data Management Consultant at Compliance Champs, specializing in Data Management & Governance. He bridges the gap between data and regulatory requirements, helping organizations turn complex compliance obligations into clear, manageable data practices. He works closely with clients to ensure their data is accurate, well-governed and aligned with the regulatory standards that apply to their business. Which overall makes compliance less of a challenge and more of a foundation for confident decision-making.

Pete is a results-driven data expert with over 10 years of experience in Data Management & Governance and BI & Analytics within financial services. He has a proven track record in developing and executing data strategies, implementing data governance and compliance frameworks and delivering scalable, insight-driven data solutions. He has extensive hands-on experience in data management, covering metadata management, data lineage, data quality and the rollout of policies and standards across complex, regulated financial institutions. On the technical side, he also has in-depth experience in using platforms and tools such as Databricks, Azure, Snowflake, Power BI and Alation.
One of his key strengths is bridging the gap between business and technology – translating business needs into data and IT solutions, while ensuring technical teams remain aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.
As a strong leader, he is also passionate about building and empowering teams to deliver meaningful, high-quality data that supports responsible and impactful decision-making.
Personal Interests and Hobbies
Outside of work Pete enjoys sports, particularly playing football and following Aston Villa football club. He is also a keen guitar player and writes music when inspired. He has always loved the countryside and can often be found walking there together with his family.
