Current Role
Peter serves as Co-founder & CEO at Compliance Champs, where he leverages his extensive experience as a consultant in the financial sector to drive impactful solutions for clients from both a compliance as well as a commercial perspective. He is responsible for managing complex projects, serving as an advisor to the C-suite of organizations and initiating and maintaining strategic partnerships.
Professional Experience and Qualities
With extensive experience in the financial sector, Peter has a proven track record within the Financial Economic Crime domain and Compliance Risk Management. He has held pivotal roles at top firms including EY and Deloitte, where he contributed significantly to important regulatory driven engagements and process improvements. After founding his own company Notwork in 2020, in 2022, Peter co-founded Compliance Champs and merged the activities of Notwork with Compliance Champs which meant following his dream of starting a consulting firm together with Leon. Known for his expertise in the crypto space, Peter has developed the crypto policy for a top three bank in the Netherlands, served as the chairman of the crypto board at the same bank, participated in public-private partnerships around cryptocurrency, and created a certified crypto training: Certified Compliance Professional in Cryptocurrency Financial Crimes. His pragmatic, solution-oriented approach, combined with strong stakeholder management skills, enables him to make substantial impacts for his clients in a short time.
