Professional Experience and Qualities
Robbert is an experienced Consultant Regulatory Compliance in the financial services sector. He advises banks, investment advisors, pension funds, and trust offices, among others.
He studied Dutch law at Utrecht University and began his career at Intertrust. There, he became a Legal Officer responsible for managing and providing legal support to client entities, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing legal documents, liaising with external professionals, and supporting corporate governance.
From 2011 to 2016, Robbert worked as a consultant at Charco & Dique, advising on regulatory issues and helping clients achieve continuous, demonstrable compliance with laws and regulations.
After spending four years in the Caribbean trust sector, Robbert returned to Charco & Dique in 2021. Since 2023, Charco & Dique has been part of Projective Group (Risk & Compliance).
Robbert quickly translates complex regulations into workable solutions. With his broad experience and pragmatic approach, he helps institutions maintain effective and sustainable compliance.
