Laurent Claassen joined Compliance Champs as an Ambassador in 2025. With decades of experience in audit, compliance, and financial crime, he contributes to our strategic direction and thought leadership. Laurent advises on complex client matters and supports the continued growth of our presence in both traditional financial services and emerging sectors such as fintech and crypto.
Professional Experience and Qualities
Laurent brings over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He started his career as a chartered accountant at leading advisory firms including EY, Deloitte, and BDO, and later developed into a specialist in regulatory risk, compliance, and financial crime.
